Jose Ramirez is a star player. There have been some concerns brought forth this offseason about his performance against breaking but… I’m not worried. He’s great. Just plug and play and enjoy the 30-30.

Manny Machado signed with San Diego in the offseason and while it’s not as good of a park as the White Sox or Phillies would have been, it’s not as bad as you think. PETCO Park is actually a neutral park in terms of power and runs so this shouldn’t affect Machado that much. Buy with confidence.

Alex Bregman is a bonafide superstar and he’s only getting better. Push him up a couple picks in dynasty leagues because he’s going to be a top 5 player soon.

Justin Turner dealt with an injury that delayed the start of his 2018 season. He still came back to be his usual self and produce a great batting average with good power. He’s a good bet to put up similar numbers this year. He’s worth more even more in leagues that count OBP separately or OPS.

Miguel Andujar had an amazing rookie year and there’s no reason to look away. I tried to find a reason to put him as my “Regression Candidate” and I couldn’t. Everything was legit last year. The only concern is the Yankees growing tired of his atrocious defense at third base.

PICK NICK SENZEL

Yuli Gurriel is a good source of cheap batting average if you need it.

Keep an eye on Scott Kingery in the spring. There’s a chance he overtakes Maikel Franco for the Phillies’ third base job. He was a highly thought of prospect before last year and nothing has changed in my mind.
